Artists who look at my paintings admire the fresh colors and loose
interpretation of form. My style was developed during my six year
education at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts where I spent countless
hours drawing portraits and figures.
In this workshop I will share my knowledge of mixing colors, developing textures and the application of paint. I
will discuss how to make your portraits appear fresh with clean flesh
tones and color, and the relationship of flesh tones in contrast with
background color. We will work from a live model and will take a one
hour lunch break during the workshop. Please bring your regular color
pallet and one canvas anywhere from 11x14 to 16x20. The fee for this
